DR. BETH A. WALTERS, LICSW
Have a particular life obstacle you’re trying to overcome? Sometimes, seeking help from a licensed expert is the best way to put things into perspective. As a committed, professional Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the Boston Area, your well-being and mental strength is my number one priority - and I’m happy to guide you through all of life’s challenges. I offer all my patients the attention and care they deserve, and have all the tools and expertise to help you get ahead.
Feeling a bit down lately and nothing seems to lift your spirits? Considering making changes in your life can feel daunting, and counseling can provide support and guidance as you continue building a more fulfilling life for yourself. In my practice, I strive to create a safe, collaborative, non-judgmental atmosphere that will help you better understand the difficulties you're experiencing and learn about ways to overcome them.
I embrace research-based counseling techniques and tailor my approach to your individual needs and goals. I have extensive training in CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic modalities, and use the Gottman Method for couple's therapy.
In couples therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current communication problems and change unhelpful thinking and behavior. We will work on helping you “re-frame” your thinking and provide you with valuable tools to cope with obstacles in your relationship.
“Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.”
