About Dr. Walters

Dr. Beth A. Walters is a licensed independent clinical social worker with a doctoral degree in advanced clinical practice. She earned her bachelor of science degree from Lesley University in social work for children. A few years later, she obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Simmons University School of Social Work. Understanding that clinical social work often involves psychoeducation on individual and community levels, she returned to her Alma mater, Lesley University, and obtained her Master of Education degree. Many questions arose from how and why therapists use use certain treatment modalities for treatment as well as experiencing patients who were misdiagnosed, underdiagnosed, and undertreated, especially in the area of ADHD, she went on to earn her Doctor of Social Work with a concentration in clinical practice and supervision.
